I decided to use up all my scraps to make a crochet blanket. You can see who is the most interested in that. Fortunately the work in progress is underneath a shopping bag, in the basket!
The trouble with using up scraps is that now they are all finished, but the blanket is too small so I 'll have to buy more wool, resulting in more scraps! It's a never ending cycle.

New tea towel, hedgerow, listed in my shop today.
These were featured on Mzansi- madames blog. I'm really flattered to have my products linked with Skinnyla Minx! They all look so good together, especially the cushions.
There is also an interview here.
I am giving away two tea towels, of your choice! Just go to barefoot-mommy and follow the instructions.
I have decided to call this design 'Hedgerow'. I am happy with the colours now and this is printed onto fabric. I started making a tea towel to list in my shop but ran out of tape so made a cushion cover instead. Hopefully I will complete the tea towel tomorrow!
I have used my design and added in a spot on the top and for the backing. It is attached with an embroidery stitch ( not sure what it's called) to add a bit of texture.
The weather is dull and miserable, pouring with rain, so not so easy to get good photos.
I have been working on some new designs and colourways. I find with the ease of changing colours in photoshop I get even more confused as to colour combos. These are only in artform but I am going to start printing them on fabric tomorrow and see how they look. I might change my mind and do some softer neutral colours if I make cushion covers. These were designed with tea towels in mind hence the cheerful colours.

I am thrilled to be mentioned on Mzansi Madame 'designer feature for the day'. Laverne Wyatt-Skriubakken is a South African living in Sweden and by her own admission an 'Afrocentric fashion lover!'
