crochet

Well, I'm so excited, my crochet cushions have found their way to Lincolnshire in the U.K. They now reside in the home of Deborah from this vintage life. I find it quite ironic that I have this fancy digital printer and my simple little hand made cushions are more appealing. I learnt to crochet when I was very young and have always loved that sense of 'creating'. For a long time though crochet has been completely out of fashion, as you can see from the pics on
Deborah's blog. Thank goodness it's back!

It is quite incredible that you can crochet some cushions in South Africa and they can find their way to me in th UK...the wonders of the internet! It's great that you have an old-fashioned skill to call on but you also embrace the very modern with your digital printing. Don't stop crocheting though...I'll be back for more!

How heartwarming to see your work on the opposite side of the world. The colours of your crochet work are so beautiful too! I have been reaquainting myself with my crochet hook a bit lately and I have found it very therapeutic!
