A sneak preview....
This is just a peak at what I am working on for the 'nest' exhibition next month. Although it takes ages I have really enjoyed working with wool, especially in this cold and windy weather! The colours I have used are quite soft and almost cool, but the warmth is in the textures. I do have some items in darker more wintery colours that should be warm and comforting!

Bags at last
At last, some bags! It is amazing how you go around full circle. When we first got involved in digital printing my husband's idea was to do promotional T-shirts and mine was to do personalized bags. Somehow I got side tracked with unsuitable bags and other things. Now I have finally arrived back at the point where I originally started!
The photos I have used are just for samples and the only recent one is of KitKat. It is extremely difficult to get a portrait photo of a cat, she is far to interested in the camera to pose!
Now I 've got another idea for the bags which I hope to have in my shop next week.
At the moment I am working frantically to get my cushions finished for the "Nest" exhibition next month.

Designing a bag
The first pathetic attempt! My idea is to use the bag to drop in photos of children, pets or anything that takes your fancy.
Third attempt! The bag is starting to take shape. This is a map I printed a while ago and now everywhere I look I see maps?
Final product, lined, stitched and ironed. Now I just need to make one with a photo instead of a floral in the centre panel.

Another Birthday
My son, the aspiring chef, turned 15 yesterday and wanted to make his own Birthday lunch. These are pics of the starters. Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of the main course, which was rack of lamb with roast potatoes and gravy and the dessert, a biscuit, choc mousse invention.Needless to say it was all delicious!
