Designing a bag

I have finally decided to make a bag! These are the original sketches and ideas for a pattern.

The first pathetic attempt! My idea is to use the bag to drop in photos of children, pets or anything that takes your fancy.

Second attempt, using an old design that I had embroidered and beaded.

Third attempt! The bag is starting to take shape.This is a map I printed a while ago and now everywhere I look I see maps?

Final product, lined, stitched and ironed. Now I just need to make one with a photo instead of a floral in the centre panel.

The inside, lined in a contrasting colour with pockets.
